Ghost Chess
Your opponent's pieces are pure light
Two boards, but each player only owns their own physical pieces. The opponent's army exists only as purple light on your squares, which makes for a strange and very readable game.
How it plays
- 1
Each board only carries one side's 16 pieces.
- 2
Opponent pieces are drawn as purple ghosts on the squares they occupy.
- 3
Captures remove the ghost and the board confirms it on both ends.
- 4
Moves are acknowledged over the air, so a dropped packet is retried, not lost.
What the lights do
Purple marks every enemy piece. Your own pieces glow dim white, and legal moves ripple outward from whatever you pick up.
What you need
