Speedrun Chess
Beat the position as fast as you can
A puzzle set or a bot, and a timer. The board tracks your run from the first piece you lift to the final mate, and remembers your best.
How it plays
- 1
The board sets up a position and starts timing on your first move.
- 2
Solve it, and the clock stops.
- 3
A wrong move adds a penalty rather than ending the run.
- 4
Personal bests are stored on the board between sessions.
What the lights do
A thin progress bar of squares fills as you advance through the run.
What you need
- One board

Source for this game hasn’t been published yet. Any game built on OpenChessCore is a good starting point — the sensors, lights, battery, and USB link are already handled, so a new game is only its rules.

The rules and the install path are designed and wired up, but the sketch hasn’t been written yet. Everything on this page is real except the binaries themselves.
