Sudden Move
A random time limit every single turn
Three seconds. Ten seconds. Five. You never know what the turn is worth until it starts, and neither does your opponent.
How it plays
- 1
Each turn is assigned a random limit, usually between 3 and 10 seconds.
- 2
The limit is shown on the board's edge before the turn begins.
- 3
Missing the limit costs you the turn.
- 4
Limits are drawn independently for each player.
What the lights do
A countdown bar runs along the edge of the board in amber, then red for the last second.
What you need

Source for this game hasn’t been published yet. Any game built on OpenChessCore is a good starting point — the sensors, lights, battery, and USB link are already handled, so a new game is only its rules.

The rules and the install path are designed and wired up, but the sketch hasn’t been written yet. Everything on this page is real except the binaries themselves.
