Captured pieces become yours to drop
Anything you capture joins your side and can be dropped back onto an empty square later. Positions never simplify.
How it plays
- 1
Captured pieces go to your reserve and switch to your color.
- 2
Instead of moving, you may drop a reserve piece onto any empty square.
- 3
Pawns may not be dropped on the first or eighth rank.
- 4
Your reserve is displayed on the board's edge.
What the lights do
Your reserve is listed along the side rank, and legal drop squares light up when you hold a spare piece.
What you need
- One board
- Spare pieces

Source for this game hasn’t been published yet. Any game built on OpenChessCore is a good starting point — the sensors, lights, battery, and USB link are already handled, so a new game is only its rules.

The rules and the install path are designed and wired up, but the sketch hasn’t been written yet. Everything on this page is real except the binaries themselves.
