Duck Chess
There is a duck, and it is in the way
After every move you also place a duck on any empty square, blocking it entirely. There is no check — the king can simply be captured.
How it plays
- 1
After your move, move the duck to any empty square.
- 2
Nothing can move onto or through the duck.
- 3
There is no check and no checkmate: you win by capturing the king.
- 4
The duck cannot stay where it was.
What the lights do
The duck's square glows bright yellow, and every square it blocks dims.
What you need
- One board
- A duck

Source for this game hasn’t been published yet. Any game built on OpenChessCore is a good starting point — the sensors, lights, battery, and USB link are already handled, so a new game is only its rules.

The rules and the install path are designed and wired up, but the sketch hasn’t been written yet. Everything on this page is real except the binaries themselves.
