Fog of War
You only see what you could attack
Enemy pieces are invisible unless one of your pieces could reach their square. The board becomes a memory game with real consequences.
How it plays
- 1
You only see enemy pieces on squares your pieces attack.
- 2
There is no check announcement — you have to notice.
- 3
Capturing the king wins the game.
- 4
Illegal moves into the fog are refused without revealing why.
What the lights do
Visible squares are lit and everything else stays dark, so the board literally hides the position.

Source for this game hasn’t been published yet. Any game built on OpenChessCore is a good starting point — the sensors, lights, battery, and USB link are already handled, so a new game is only its rules.

The rules and the install path are designed and wired up, but the sketch hasn’t been written yet. Everything on this page is real except the binaries themselves.
